Environmental and Sustainability Manager

Our client a regional contractor / developer are looking to recruit an Environmental and Sustainability Manager with:

·         Extensive construction experience ideally working as a construction manager prior to HS&E

·         Pragmatic, practical approach to problem solving

·         Hold NEBOSH or equivalent H&S Construction Certificate as a minimum

·         Committed, self motivated individual with excellent communication skills

·         Knowledge of BS 19011, ISO 9001 and 14001

Duties:

Reporting to the HSQE Manager the successful candidates duties will include:

·         Carrying out regular audits, inspections across all the group companies sites

·         Carry out accident investigations, tool-box talks as required

·         Working with project teams to develop practical, project specific safety & environmental strategies

·         Ensure compliance with all safety related rules, policies, directives and procedures within the Group

·         Providing advice and guidance to Management and employees on compliance

·         Assist in the development and review of Company Management Systems
